From an idle mind

I wanted to write a poem.
It was all I wanted to do.
So I took my pen and paper,
And sat down on my stool.

I assure there was no pun intended.
It made much laughter and myself, a fool.
But for laughing, reading these eight lines,
I wish to say thank you.
